Treasure Hunters
I worked on Treasure Hunters as part of a 4 person team and worked on it as a programmer. Treasure Hunters was a competitive multiplayer game developed for the NSE Game Innovation Challenge back in 2021 and although it did not win got an honourable mention as a runner up.

As the programmer on the team I was mainly tasked with getting our multiplayer framework up and running for the game as we were using Unity as our game engine. To begin with Photon Bolt was used which was later replaced with Mirror which was much easier a framework to use with our style of game.

Along with multiplayer we wished to get our game to work on Steam even though we never managed to get it to that point so in order to do this I also learned the necessary skills to work with Steamworks and have it link with Mirror to create a lobby system to allow players to join lobbies through Steam and play the game together that way.

Overall Treasure Hunters taught me a lot about working with Multiplayer as well as working on a more long term project with a team of people.
